The present invention provides a solution for coloring zirconia, which, when being used on pre-sintered zirconia, results in little difference in color between before and after sintering so as to enable accurate prediction of post-sintering color tone. The present invention pertains to a zirconia coloring solution which comprises: a colorant (A) that is decolorized after sintering of zirconia; and a metal ion solution (B), wherein when zirconia is dyed with said zirconia coloring solution and then subjected to sintering, the difference in color between pre-sintering and post-sintering satisfies [delta]L*<=5.8, [delta]a*<=2.4, and [delta]b*<=4.3.
