The invention discloses a light-weight interior trimming panel and a process for mounting a blank on a wall thereof. The light-weight interior trimming panel comprises a decorative layer, a core layer and a base layer which are sequentially arranged, wherein the thickness ratio of the decorative layer to the core layer to the base layer is 3: 5: 1, the core layer adopts a PP glass fiber panel with the density of 1100-1650g/m < 2 >, and a flame-retardant layer and an antibacterial layer are arranged between the decorative layer and the core layer. According to the light-weight interior trimming panel, PP glass fibers are adopted as the core layer, the surface decorative layer and the bottom base layer are compounded, and the lightweight design of the panel is achieved; irregular raised transverse stripes are arranged on the surface, so that the surface of the panel is strong in stereoscopic impression and natural and attractive in appearance; the interior trimming panel is simple in structure, excellent in performance, not prone to cracking and damage and wide in application range; the interior trimming panel with the characteristics is used for wall decoration, can be directly mounted on the wall, does not need to be leveled, is environment-friendly and safe, and is simple in construction operation.
