The invention relates to the technical field of refractory materials, and discloses a high-refractoriness-under-load mullite composite brick which comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 30-50 parts of corundum mullite, 120-150 parts of bauxite clinker, 3-7 parts of silica powder, 2-6 parts of nanoscale metal aluminum powder, 10-15 parts of sillimanite, 3-5 parts of phosphoric acid and additional paper pulp waste liquid accounting for 2-4% of the total weight of the various raw materials. According to the high-refractoriness-under-load mullite composite brick and the preparation method thereof, after a green brick is placed in a mold, a plate is driven by a lifting device to move up and down, so that the green brick is extruded, air holes in the prepared composite brick can be greatly reduced, and the strength and the comprehensiveness of the composite brick are improved; phosphoric acid, silica powder, nano-scale metal aluminum powder and fragments are mixed, phosphoric acid reacts with a silicon-aluminum system and corundum mullite to generate compound phosphate with cementing capacity, and the raw materials can be mutually combined, so that the internal bonding performance is improved.
