According to the water retaining and water saving structure in the slope, atmospheric rainfall can be fully utilized, the water retaining and water saving capacity of the slope is increased, and water is continuously supplied to the surface layer of the slope. The ecological restoration layer on the slope surface and the internal water retaining and water saving structure can supply water for vegetation permeation and can also provide nutrients and root growth space for vegetation. The ecological restoration method has the advantages of obvious water saving effect and wide popularization prospect, and the problems of water and soil loss and fertility degradation are effectively avoided.
