The invention relates to a hollow building block for a grooving-free wall body, and belongs to the field of building materials. The hollow building block consists of a standard hollow building block and a wire groove hollow building block, and the hollow building block is characterized in that a first rib embedding groove is formed in the upper surface of the standard hollow building block; protruding first positioning ridges are arranged along the two groove edges of the first rib embedding groove; a first gluing groove is formed by the outer side face of each first positioning ridge and the upper surface of the standard hollow building block; the lower surface of the standard hollow building block is provided with a first groove corresponding to the position of the first rib embedding groove; the wire groove hollow building block is a standard hollow building block of which one side surface is provided with a wiring groove; a second rib embedding groove, second positioning ridges and a second groove are formed in the wire groove hollow building block; and the second positioning ridges are embedded into the first groove to form a channel with the periphery closed. The prejudice in the prior art is overcome, water and electricity pipelines can be installed without grooving in the wall face, the building efficiency and the wall face flatness are relatively high, and the hollow building block can serve as a solution for building waste recycling.
