The invention discloses a supporting structure and a construction method thereof.The supporting structure is used for supporting a cross beam formwork of a tower column, the cross beam formwork comprises a bottom formwork and a side formwork, the supporting structure comprises a fixing assembly, a bearing assembly and a supporting assembly, and the fixing assembly comprises a plurality of stand columns and a plurality of brackets; the bottom of the stand column is used for being connected with a first embedded part embedded in the bearing platform, the bracket is used for being connected with a second embedded part embedded in a tower body of the tower column, the bearing assembly comprises a plurality of first distribution beams and a plurality of bailey beams, the first distribution beams are installed at the free end of the bracket at intervals and connected with the top of the stand column. The multiple bailey beams are installed on the first distribution beams at intervals, and the supporting assemblies are installed on the upper portions of the bailey beams and used for fixing the cross beam formwork. The supporting structure is stable, and the tower column cross beam poured by the cross beam formwork for supporting the tower column is evenly stressed.
