The invention discloses a railway snow sweeping device which comprises a base plate, a transmission mechanism arranged at the top end of the base plate, a snow clearing mechanism, a pressing mechanism and a snow shoveling cover arranged at the top of the base plate, wherein the snow clearing mechanism and the pressing mechanism are arranged on the base plate. According to the railway snow sweeping device, the whole device can be placed on a rail, the contact friction force between a rubber block and the rail is adjusted through an adjusting bolt in the pressing mechanism so that the snow shoveling device can adapt to snow shoveling work of different degrees to prevent a vehicle body from overturning, and when a first motor rotates, a transmission main shaft transmits steering force to a wheel shaft and a snow cleaning rolling shaft through a transmission auxiliary shaft, thereby realizing vehicle body driving and tail residual snow removing function on a snow cleaning roller; and the side roller obtains a driving force to rotate through the belt pulley for removing the residual snow at two sides of the steel rail; when the vehicle body moves forwards, the snow shoveling cutter plate shovels the accumulated snow on the rail and the accumulated snow is divided to the two sides of the rail through the special structure of the main cover.
