The invention discloses an assembly type building curtain wall and an assembling method thereof. The assembly type building curtain wall comprises a curtain wall body and a limiting assembly; the front face of the curtain wall body is fixedly connected with an assembly frame body; and one side of the assembly frame body is rotationally connected with a first screw rod through a rotating shaft, and the other side of the assembly frame body is rotationally connected with a second screw rod through a rotating shaft. According to the assembly type building curtain wall, the curtain wall body can be conveniently installed through an assembly mounting frame, assembly mounting bases, the first screw rod, corner splicing frames and other components, wherein the assembly mounting frame serves as a main connecting piece and the two assembly mounting bases serve as auxiliary connecting pieces, and meanwhile the corner splicing frames can move in the opposite directions by rotating the screw rods; the distance during installation can be conveniently adjusted, movable further fixed installation can be conveniently carried out according to the installation position of the wall body, and the flexibility during installation of the curtain wall body is improved; and meanwhile, the first screw rod and the second screw rod can be connected and limited, and the stability of the corner splicing frames can be improved.
