VEHICLE DOOR HANDLE HAVING ELECTRONIC COMPONENT
A vehicle door handle (1) is designed with a multi-part housing, at least one cavity for receiving an electronic component (7) being formed in a first housing part (2). An insert part (4) for the first housing part (2) has holding means (4a, 4b, 4c) for holding the electronic component (7), and the shape of the insert part (4) fits into a section of the cavity of the first housing part (2) such that said insert part delimits a section of the cavity of the first housing part (2) together with the first housing part (2), so that a potting trough for receiving a potting material (5) is formed. This formed potting trough has a bottom which is formed partly by the insert part (4) and partly by the first housing part (2). The holding means (4a, 4b, 4c) for holding the electronic component are positioned inside the formed potting trough.
