The garbage treatment system comprises a domestic robot and an organic garbage treatment device; the domestic robot is internally provided with a chopping mechanism used for cutting kitchen garbage, a water grinding mechanism used for grinding the cut kitchen garbage and a first water tank, the domestic robot is further provided with a first channel which inclines downwards from the outside of the domestic robot and communicates with the chopping mechanism, and the first water tank communicates with the first channel through a water flowing pipe; and the organic garbage treatment device comprises a water-slurry separation mechanism and a slurry compression mechanism, the water-slurry separation mechanism communicates with the water grinding mechanism and is used for dehydrating the kitchen garbage ground into slurry, and the slurry compression mechanism communicates with the water-slurry separation mechanism and is used for compressing the dehydrated slurry kitchen garbage. According to the garbage treatment device, kitchen garbage can be quickly treated, garbage deterioration and stink emission caused by long-time stacking are avoided, environmental pollution is reduced, and the garbage treatment efficiency can be improved.
