The invention relates to auxiliary equipment for overhauling an air duct type heater. The auxiliary equipment comprises a ventilation duct pipe formed by splicing a plurality of air duct boxes in a front-back arrangement manner, and a sealing door is hinged to the upper part of the left end of each air duct box. A T-shaped auxiliary rod is welded to the left end of each sealing door. The left end of the ventilation duct pipe is fixedly connected with an extension plate, and a door searching assembly is installed on the extension plate; the door searching assembly is connected with clamping ring frames matched with the auxiliary rods; and the left end of each air duct box is provided with a lifting control assembly matched with the corresponding auxiliary rod. The auxiliary equipment is convenient to use; and the corresponding sealing doors can be automatically found and automatically opened, and the sealing doors are supported and fixed after being opened, so that the effect of facilitating manual access for overhauling is achieved, the overhauling time is indirectly shortened, and the automation degree is relatively high.
