The invention discloses a conductive ceramsite filler for a bio-trickling filter. The conductive ceramsite filler comprises the following components in parts by weight: 40-50 parts of activated carbon powder, 20-30 parts of iron oxide powder and 30-50 parts of clay. The preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing the activated carbon powder, the iron oxide powder and the clay, standing for 20-30 hours, putting into a vacuum pug mill for treatment, standing the treated pug for 18-24 hours, granulating to obtain pug granules with the diameter of 8-12 mm, naturally air-drying and shaping the pug granules, drying again, and finally firing at high temperature to obtain the conductive ceramsite filler for the bio-trickling filter. The filler is low in raw material price, environmentally friendly and low in production cost, the prepared filler is high in specific surface area and porosity and has excellent conductivity and mechanical strength, and the problems that in the prior art, a conductive filler for a bio-trickling filter is insufficient in specific surface area and porosity and poor in adsorption performance are solved.
