The invention relates to a connecting rod type outer rotor motor direct-drive channel gate device. The channel gate device comprises a rack assembly, a motor assembly which comprises an inner rotor assembly and an outer rotor assembly, a gate plate assembly, and a link assembly, wherein a crankshaft is arranged on the outer rotor assembly; and the outer rotor assembly drives the connecting rod assembly through the crankshaft so that the connecting rod assembly can drive the gate plate assembly to carry out gate opening and closing movement on the rack assembly. A channel gate device debugging method comprises gate closing debugging and gate opening debugging. The gate closing position of a gate plate is the axis of the connecting rod assembly, the axis of the crankshaft and the axis of a fixing shaft of the motor assembly which coincide on the same straight line; and the gate opening position of the gate plate is the axis of the connecting rod assembly, the axis of the fixing shaft of the motor assembly and the axis of the crankshaft which coincide on the same straight line. A transmission chain is short, the efficiency is higher, the service life is longer, and the overall operation reliability of the gate is improved.
