The invention discloses a wind-resistant connecting assembly for assembling a glass curtain wall. The assembly comprises a cross sleeve, a connecting arm and a fixing sleeve, a buffer groove is formed in the side wall of the cross sleeve, and a buffer device for reducing the vibration amplitude of the connecting arm is mounted in the buffer groove. The buffer device comprises magnetorheological fluid, a first permanent magnet, a second permanent magnet and a driving mechanism. The driving mechanism is used for driving the second permanent magnet to move and comprises a wing-shaped plate, a connecting rod and a reset spring. By arranging the driving mechanism, under the normal condition, the magnetorheological fluid in the buffer groove is in a solid form, so that the magnetorheological fluid and the connecting arm are kept in a stable connection state, the driving mechanism is operated when wind attacks, the relative area of the two permanent magnets is reduced, the magnetic field intensity of the magnetorheological fluid in the buffer groove is weakened, and the magnetic field intensity of the magnetorheological fluid in the buffer groove is reduced. Therefore, the magnetorheological fluid can be changed into a flowable state, so that the vibration amplitude of the glass curtain wall and the connecting arm is effectively buffered.
