The invention discloses a support for building engineering construction. When the support body does not need to be moved and a constructor uses the support body to conduct construction on a high place, the pulleys do not make contact with the ground, the lower surfaces of the supporting columns make contact with the ground, so that the support body is more stable and does not slide at will, personal safety of the constructor is facilitated, and potential safety hazards are greatly reduced.
