The hinge assembly comprises a hinge base, a hinge arm and a driving part; the hinge arm is hinged to the hinge base; a first angle, a second angle and a third angle which are gradually increased are formed between the hinge arm and the hinge base on the rotating path of the hinge arm rotating relative to the hinge base; and the driving part is connected with the hinge arm and is used for driving the hinge arm to rotate from the first angle to the second angle and allowing the hinge arm to rotate from the second angle to the third angle under the action of external force. Compared with the prior art, when a door body is connected to a box body through the hinge assembly, an external handle does not need to be arranged on the door body, the door body is driven by the hinge arm to be opened and closed to a certain angle to be operated by a user, an opening of the door body can be completely opened under the action of the user, and danger caused by the fact that an exposed handle is arranged on the door body is avoided.
