The anti-seepage structure comprises a basement bottom plate, a basement outer wall, a steel plate water-stop belt, an inclined supporting piece and a concrete protection layer, wherein, the basement outer wall is arranged on the basement bottom plate; the steel plate water-stop belt is located in the basement outer wall, and the lower end of the steel plate water-stop belt is welded to a bottom plate reinforcing steel bar in the basement bottom plate at the corresponding position of the basement outer wall; on the downstream face of the steel plate water-stop belt, bottom plate concrete of the basement bottom plate covers part of the steel plate water-stop belt; the inclined supporting piece is obliquely welded between the downstream face of the steel plate water-stop belt and the bottom plate reinforcing steel bar in the basement bottom plate; and the concrete protection layer is poured upwards on the upstream face of the steel plate water-stop belt along the basement bottom plate to the height center position of the steel plate water-stop belt, and the elevation of the concrete protection layer is higher than that of bottom plate concrete of the basement bottom plate. According to the basement outer wall anti-seepage structure and the construction method thereof, the waterproof effect of the basement outer wall can be improved, the perpendicularity is guaranteed, the engineering quality is improved, the construction period is shortened, and the construction progress is accelerated.
