The method aims at solving the problems that when rainwater is filtered in the prior art, the filtering effect is inconvenient to monitor, and when the rainfall is large or blockage occurs, filtering is not timely. The method comprises the following steps that S1, factory slope rainwater enters a water inlet of a water storage pool through a diversion canal; S2, the rainwater is filtered through a filter screen at the water inlet, and the filtered water enters the water storage pool to be stored; S3, the rainwater is monitored through a raindrop sensor, and when raining by monitoring, a signal is sent to a control center; and S4, the control center receives the signal and then starts a flow monitor, and the flow monitor measures the flow of the filtered rainwater. Accordingly, the filtering condition of the filter screen can be monitored, and blockage can be relieved in time; meanwhile, the flow dividing function is achieved, and the phenomenon that rainwater filtering is not timely is avoided.
