The invention relates to a gabion net cage and an assembling method. The gabion net cage comprises a cage body; the cage body is provided with at least one space area defined after a plurality of meshes are connected; the space areas are used for containing filler; the multiple meshes are made of a plastic material; the side edges of the meshes are folded back and fixed to form a folded-back area; the folded-back area comprises a plurality of closed structures which are formed on the side edges of the meshes and are sequentially arranged; each closed structure comprises a plurality of first closed holes and at least two second closed holes formed in the side portions of the first closed holes; and the first closed holes and/or the second closed holes of the adjacent meshes are connected through connecting parts. According to the scheme, the gabion net cage can be assembled and disassembled more conveniently, the structural stability is better, and the safety is higher.
