The invention discloses drainage equipment for flood control and drainage. The equipment effectively solves the problems that existing flood control and drainage equipment is highly dependent on people, cannot autonomously block flood, and is not beneficial to protecting the property and life safety of people. The equipment comprises a base; an automatically-controlled first water inlet is formed in the base; a manually-controlled second water inlet is formed in the middle of the first water inlet; the first water inlet and the second water inlet jointly communicate with a first water storage tank formed in the base; a drainage wheel is rotationally connected into the first water storage tank; a second water storage tank is formed in the rear side of the drainage wheel; the second water storage tank is communicated with a water suction pump fixedly connected with the base; two symmetrically-distributed vertical plates are fixedly connected with the upper portion of the base; a plurality of sliding blocks driven by the drainage wheel are arranged in the vertical plates; and waterproof plates capable of synchronously rotating are rotationally connected into the sliding blocks.
