The invention belongs to the field of building materials, relates to a maritime work repairing and reinforcing material, and in particular, relates to a magnesium phosphate cement-based sulfate-resistant maritime work repairing and reinforcing material and a preparation method thereof. The material comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 53 to 60 wt% of magnesium phosphate cement, 39 to 46 wt% of quartz sand, and 0.8 to 1.5 wt% of polypropylene fiber. The magnesium phosphate cement comprises the components in percentage by mass: 62 to 67 wt% of magnesium phosphate cement-based gelling powder, 18 to 22 wt% of monoammonium phosphate, 10 to 13 wt% of a composite set retarder, and 2 to 4 wt% of sodium silicate. The magnesium phosphate cement-based gelling agent powder comprises the components in percentage by weight: 80 to 83 wt% of over-burnt magnesia powder, 5 to 7 wt% of limestone powder, and 10 to 15 wt% of metakaolin. The composite set retarder is composed of borax, disodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate and organic acid. The material provided by the invention has the characteristics of strong sulfate corrosion resistance, fast setting and hardening, strong constructability, high early strength, strong wear resistance, good cohesiveness and the like, and has strong cohesiveness with an old concrete structure matrix.
