The invention relates to a truss-steel-bar-free concrete groove type composite floor slab and a construction method thereof. The floor slab comprises a prefabricated bottom plate (1) and a cast-in-place composite layer (2) arranged on the prefabricated bottom plate (1); a plurality of rib grooves (3) are formed in the bottom of the prefabricated bottom plate (1) in parallel; rib groove longitudinal bars (4) and rib groove distribution bars (5) are arranged in the rib grooves (3); the rib groove longitudinal bars (4) are arranged on the inner sides of the bottoms of the rib grooves (3); and the rib groove distribution bars (5) are perpendicular to the rib groove longitudinal bars (4), and the two ends of the rib groove distribution bars (5) stretch out of the top of the prefabricated bottom plate (1) and enter the cast-in-place composite layer (2). Compared with the prior art, the composite floor slab can be free of truss steel bars, and formwork erecting and supporting are avoided during construction.
