The invention provides a sliding construction method applied to a large-span steel structure. The method comprises the steps of construction preparation, track pre-embedding installation, sliding track installation, steel structure welding and hoisting, hydraulic pushing single-piece sliding, steel member hinging partition, hydraulic pushing partition sliding, remaining partition steel member installation and the like. According to the sliding construction method applied to the large-span steel structure, a pre-embedded track is arranged before a main body is poured, a sliding track is arranged on the pre-embedded track before a steel member is hoisted, and a hydraulic pushing system is used for carrying out partitioned sliding construction on the steel member, so that various problems in construction of the large-span steel structure are successfully solved; and the construction efficiency of steel structure engineering is greatly improved.
