The novel assembly type combined steel pipe column has the beneficial effects that open grooves are formed in the steel pipes, extension blocks are positioned and inserted by utilizing the open grooves, then vertical fastening connection of the steel pipes is realized through the different extension blocks, so that the stability and convenience of connection are greatly improved, the operation difficulty is reduced, and the accuracy of connection is improved; and the fastening disc and a limiting inserting disc are arranged, so that the connection stability of the steel pipes is greatly improved while the accuracy of the extension positions of the steel pipes is improved, a fine adjustment screw capable of rotating in a threaded mode is matched, then the height of the steel pipe column is finely adjusted, and then the application range is enlarged.
