The invention provides aconstruction method of an edge protection railing. The construction method is characterized by comprising the following steps: a, completing construction of frame columns (15); b, completing hoisting of prestressed precast beams (1); c, taking a plurality of sections of phi 48 * 3 vertical steel pipes (4) with the length of 1350 mm; d, taking a plurality of phi 20 steel bars (5) with the length of 150 mm, and manufacturing Z-shaped steel bars; e, installing three horizontal steel pipes (7) on the vertical steel pipes through fasteners; f, on the outer sides of the vertical steel pipes (7), fixing a green safety net through galvanized iron wires; g, sequentially installing upper steel bars (9) of a prefabricated beam overlapping part (13); and h, pouring C40 concrete (12) with the thickness of 150 mm after all prefabricated beams and steel bar truss floor bearing plate steel bars are installed. The construction method of the edge protective railing has the advantages that the original design method of the edge protection railing is simplified, the construction difficulty and danger of the edge protection railing are reduced, the labor efficiency of workers is improved, the engineering cost is reduced, and the construction period is shortened.
