The invention discloses a reciprocating electromagnetic lock for a platform door and relates to the field of rail transit. The reciprocating electromagnetic lock comprises an electromagnet, a position detection block, a detection switch and a reset spring which are arranged in a housing, the electromagnet is composed of a fixed frame and a black iron shaft capable of doing reciprocating motion on the fixed frame, one end of the black iron shaft extends out of the housing to serve as a spring bolt of the electromagnetic lock, and the other end of the black iron shaft is coaxially connected with the reset spring and is further connected with a position detection block capable of moving together with the reset spring, and the position detection block is movably contacted with the detection switch. Compared with the prior art, the reciprocating electromagnetic lock has the characteristics of small volume, simple structure, few parts, good leakproofness and no maintenance in the use process.
