The invention provides a connecting piece for fixing a lower wall body of a steel beam and a connecting method. The connecting piece comprises a hanging part which is used for being buckled on a lower flange plate of the steel beam, and the hanging part is provided with an abutting end suitable for being attached to a web plate of the steel beam; a fastening part and the hanging part are arranged in parallel, and the fastening part is used for penetrating into a wall body and detachably locking the wall body on the fastening part; a connecting part is vertically connected between the hanging part and the fastening part, and the connecting part is used for being connected with the side face of a wall in an abutting mode. According to the connecting piece for fixing the lower wall body of the steel beam and the connecting method, at least two connecting pieces are opposite in a staggered manner, so that the hanging part clamps the web of the steel beam, the wall bodies on the two sides are respectively locked with the fastening part, and the steel beam and the wall bodies are uniformly stressed and stably connected through the connecting mode; the connection between the lower wall body and the steel beam is detachable mechanical connection, on-site welding is not needed, and the safety and the construction efficiency during construction are improved.
