The invention provides a floating type wave dissipating device with a stabilization function. The floating type wave dissipating device comprises at least one wave dissipating structure unit; each wave dissipating structure unit comprises a floating box, a wave dissipating assembly, a stabilization assembly and an anchoring assembly; each floating box is divided into an upper layer and a lower layer; each wave dissipating assembly is arranged on the upper layer of the corresponding floating box; each stabilization assembly is arranged on the outer side wall, perpendicular to the wave moving direction, of the lower layer of the corresponding floating box; and each anchoring assembly is connected with the bottom of the corresponding floating box. According to the wave dissipating device, the floating boxes serve as a main body structure to achieve self-floating of the device, the stabilization assemblies are arranged on the outer side walls of the floating boxes while the wave dissipating assemblies are arranged to dissipate waves, the inclination acting force generated by the waves on the floating boxes can be balanced through the stabilization assemblies, and the stability of the floating type wave dissipating device is improved.
