The building block comprises building block bodies, a heat preservation layer, a telescopic connecting mechanism and a pushing mechanism, wherein filling holes are formed in the building block bodies, the heat preservation layer is filled between the building block bodies and used for achieving heat preservation, the heat preservation layer and the building block bodies are connected in a clamped mode through inserting pieces and notches, the telescopic connecting mechanism is mounted on the thermal insulation layer and is used for connecting the building block bodies and movably separating the heat preservation layer from the building block bodies, and the pushing mechanism is connected with the heat preservation layer and acts on the heat preservation layer to drive the heat preservation layer to be separated from the building block bodies. According to the building block, the telescopic connecting mechanism is arranged, when the heat preservation layer is damaged and needs to be replaced or the building block bodies is broken and recycled, the telescopic connecting mechanism can be started to be retracted into the heat preservation layer, and the heat preservation layer and the building block body are conveniently separated; and the pushing mechanism is arranged, a pushing force can be applied to the heat preservation layer, the separation of the heat preservation layer and the building block bodies is accelerated.
