The slope protection structure comprises a reinforced planting layer covering the slope, a drainage pipe network buried in the reinforced planting layer and a grass blanket covering the reinforced planting layer; a slope top water collecting ditch is formed in the slope top of the slope, and the upper portion of the drainage pipe network is embedded in the slope top water collecting ditch and in communication with the water collecting ditch; the reinforced planting layer comprises a first planting soil layer covering the slope, a steel wire mesh laid on the first planting soil layer and a second planting soil layer covering a steel wire mesh; and the drainage pipe network is supported on the steel wire mesh and is embedded in the second planting soil layer. According to the slope protection structure, the reinforced planting layer for providing the growth soil for the grass blanket plants is arranged on the slope body, and a water source is introduced into the reinforced planting layer and the grass blanket through the drainage pipe network, so that the planting soil is moist, the plants can conveniently take roots and absorb water from the soil to germinate and grow, and finally the ecological environment of the slope is improved.
