The invention provides an unlocking mechanism and an electronic lock. The unlocking mechanism comprises a clutch assembly and a rotating assembly. The clutch assembly comprises clutch pieces and a normally-open piece. The rotating assembly comprises a normally-open connecting piece and a clutch connecting piece. The normally-open piece is arranged between the two clutch pieces, the normally-open connecting piece and the clutch connecting piece are further arranged, the normally-open connecting piece can be inserted into a normally-open cooperation hole from the outer side of any clutch piece so that it can be guaranteed that a person inside a door can normally open the door, and the clutch connecting piece can also be inserted into a clutch cooperation hole from the outer side of any clutch piece so that it can be guaranteed that a person outside the door can only achieve unlocking through electricity. A lock body of the electronic lock provided with the clutch assembly can be assembled on an inward opening door and be also assembled on an outward opening door only by turning over the front face and the back face, and the technical problem that the universality of the lock body is poor is solved.
