The steel formwork cleaning method comprises the steps that a steel formwork is obliquely arranged relative to the horizontal plane, and the surface of the steel formwork faces upwards; the surface of the steel formwork is wetted by water; prepared cement mortar is paved on the surface of the steel formwork to form a cement mortar layer with a certain thickness; the cement mortar is prepared by uniformly mixing and stirring the following components in parts by mass: 390-420 parts of water; 345-375 parts of cement; 80-120 parts of fly ash; 960-1140 parts of sand; 70-100 parts of soil; 3.0-4.0 parts of a water reducing agent; and 90-130 parts of an expanding agent; after the cement mortar layer is hardened to a certain strength and cracked, peeling occurs, the cement mortar layer on the steel formwork is removed; and the surface of the steel formwork is washed with water. According to the method, pollutants on the surface of the steel formwork can be cleaned in a one-time adhesion mode, the cleaning difficulty is small, the cleaning efficiency is high, the cost is low, no pollution is caused to the environment, and no harm is caused to human health.
