The wallpaper comprises a sound insulation layer and a base layer; the sound insulation layer is formed by mixing the following raw materials: 11-15% of razor clam stone, 11-15% of plant ash, 11-15% of bamboo charcoal, 41-50% of resin and 11-15% of asbestos. The base layer is made of non-woven fabric. According to the wallpaper with the sound insulation function and the preparation method of the wallpaper, the crushed particles of the razor clam stone, the plant ash, the bamboo charcoal and the asbestos are matched with the resin to be bonded to form a supporting material to form the sound insulation layer, sound is refracted through the particles, and then the excellent sound insulation effect is achieved.
