The invention discloses a construction method for overwater super-long steel sheet piles, and belongs to the field of steel sheet pile construction methods. The construction method comprises the following steps of erecting a guide frame; hoisting one steel sheet pile and putting the steel sheet pile into the guide frame, wherein the steel sheet pile sinks to be static under the action of self weight; and hoisting one steel sheet pile and putting the steel sheet pile into the guide frame, so that the steel sheet pile is connected with the steel sheet pile which is placed in advance, wherein the steel sheet pile sinks to be static under the action of the self weight. Partial settlement is achieved through the dead weight of the steel sheet piles, meanwhile, when a pile driver conducts inserting and driving on one steel sheet pile, the steel sheet pile transmits vibration to the adjacent steel sheet pile, the adjacent steel sheet pile is made to settle to the deep position in advance, and through two times of settlement, the adjacent steel sheet pile settles to the low position, so that inserting and driving can be achieved through the common pile driver during follow-up inserting and driving; and meanwhile, due to the fact that the original inserting and driving depth of the steel sheet piles is large enough, the construction efficiency can be improved in the follow-up inserting and driving process, and the pipe construction period can be shortened.
