The invention discloses a foundation pit slope supporting structure and a construction method thereof. The supporting structure comprises a stacked protection structure, a plurality of rows of parallel ground anchor assemblies, connecting steel wire ropes and pressure bearing bodies, wherein the stacked protection structure is laid on the surface of a slope, the stacked protection structure is folded at the slope top of the slope to form a slope top flange, and the stacked protection structure is folded at the slope bottom of the slope to form a slope bottom flange; each ground anchor assembly comprises a plurality of ground anchor pieces which are sequentially arranged at intervals, the ground anchor pieces penetrate through the stacked protection structure to be inserted into the slope, and one ends of the ground anchor pieces are exposed out of the stacked protection structure; each connecting steel wire rope is connected between every two adjacent ground anchor pieces; and the pressure bearing bodies are arranged on the slope top flange and the slope bottom flange.
