According to the scheme, the floating object collecting device adopts a chain wheel type salvaging structure; various floating objects with different sizes are salvaged in order through a combined structure of a plurality of salvaging ratchet wheels and transmission chains on the surface of a salvaging and conveying mechanism; and objects such as garbage and algae floating on the lake surface can be salvaged and conveyed through rotating motion of a salvaging toothed bar structure, so that the practicability of the salvaging structure is improved.
