The invention relates to the technical field of slate pencil production, in particular to a synthetic slate pencil which is prepared from the following ingredients in parts by weight: 50 to 60 parts of talc, 5 to 15 parts of calcium carbonate, 10 to 20 parts of calcium sulfate, 10 to 20 parts of clay, 2 to 6 parts of a binding agent, 1 to 3 parts of table salt, 0.5 to 1.0 part of radix angelicae, 0.5 to 1.0 part of herba menthae, 0.5 to 1.0 part of radix notoginseng, 0.5 to 1.0 part of fructus schizandrae, 0.1 to 0.3 part of garlic extracts and 3 to 7 parts of vegetable oil and water. The slate pencil is supplemented with medicine components, the harmfulness is reduced, meanwhile, the hardness is increased, and the usability of the slate pencil is effectively improved.
