A ceramic green sheet which is provided with a plurality of substrate forming regions. A part of this ceramic green sheet is provided with a bar code or a two-dimensional code. This bar code or two-dimensional code is obtained by encoding one or more of the information (a)-(d) described below: (a) information regarding the starting materials for the production of the ceramic green sheet; (b) information regarding the molding conditions of the ceramic green sheet; (c) information regarding the mold release agent that is used in the cases where a plurality of ceramic green sheets are stacked; (d) a serial number.
