The invention discloses lightweight aggregate concrete, and relates to the technical field of building materials. The lightweight aggregate concrete is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 200 to 300 parts of cement, 150 to 180 parts of water, 50 to 80 parts of fly ash, 20 to 60 parts of lightweight aggregate and 5 to 8 parts of polycarboxylic acid type water reducing agent. Meanwhile, a preparation method of the lightweight aggregate concrete comprises the following steps: (1) preparing the cement, the water, the fly ash, the lightweight aggregate and the polycarboxylic acid water reducer; (2) transferring the raw materials in the step (1) into a stirrer, stirring and mixing, and pouring into a mold; and (3) curing the concrete in the mold in the step (2). The modified ceramsite and the modified kaolin in the lightweight aggregate play key roles, and the prepared concrete has excellent performance parameters such as apparent density, compressive strength, breaking strength and heat conductivity coefficient, and is high-quality lightweight aggregate concrete.
