The invention belongs to the technical field of lime production, and particularly relates to a large-particle calcium oxide suspension calcination process. A device used in the process comprises a preheating part, a calcining part, a cooling part, an auxiliary pressurizing and heating part, a conventional fan, a storage bin and a feeding bin, wherein suspension air pipe of a second preheating hopper serves as a discharging port of the feeding bin and is connected to an air return pipe of a first preheating hopper; a suspension air pipe of the first preheating hopper serves as an exhaust pipe of a suspension calcining device, and a discharging pipe of the first preheating hopper is connected to an air return pipe of a second preheating hopper and a suspension air pipe of a third preheating hopper; and the discharging pipe of the second preheating hopper is connected to an air return pipe of the third preheating hopper and suspension air pipe of the fourth preheating hopper. According to the invention, a high-temperature and high-pressure fan and a pre-combustion bin assist in temperature increasing and pressure increasing, so the situation that a temperature is not enough when limestone powder is decomposed is avoided, meanwhile, the problem that the limestone powder cannot suspend due to small air pressure is also avoided, convenience is brought to work of workers, and the work and life of people are facilitated.
