The rotating device comprises a U-shaped bottom plate arranged on an adjustable bracket U-shaped top plate of the adjustable bracket of the steel pipe formwork support; an opening of the U-shaped bottom plate faces downwards and is embedded and fixed in the adjustable bracket U-shaped top plate, and a rib plate of the U-shaped bottom plate is orthogonal to a rib plate of the adjustable bracket U-shaped top plate; a rotating U-shaped top plate with an upward opening is arranged over the U-shaped bottom plate; a rib plate of the rotating U-shaped top plate is parallel to the rib plate of the adjustable bracket U-shaped top plate; a formwork main ridge is arranged in the rotating U-shaped top plate, and the middle position of the rotating U-shaped top plate is connected with the middle position of the U-shaped bottom plate through a hinge mechanism; and the rotating U-shaped top plate can rotate in a reciprocating mode in the span direction of the formwork main ridge. According to the device, the edge concentrated load of the adjustable bracket U-shaped top plate can be converted into the in-plate linear load of the adjustable bracket U-shaped top plate, so that the adjustable bracket U-shaped top plate is prevented from being crushed, damaged and seriously deformed.
