The straight ladder comprises two vertical rods and handrails, each of the upper ends of the two vertical rods is provided with one handrail, stepping boards are fixedly installed on the inner sides of the two vertical rods, and connecting bases are fixedly connected to the sides, away from the stepping boards, of the lower ends of the two vertical rods in a spot welding mode. According to the straight ladder, a traditional mode that the stepping boards and the vertical rods are fixed through bolts is changed into an existing mode that insertion holes are formed in the vertical rods, first insertion boards and second insertion boards are arranged on the two sides of the stepping boards, and the first insertion boards and the second insertion boards can be inserted into the inner sides of the vertical rods during installation; and then the stepping boards and the vertical rods are limited through pins at the surface ends of the second insertion boards, so that the straight ladder is more convenient to install, and rubber rings are arranged on the peripheries of the inner sides of the insertion holes, so that when the stepping boards are treaded, no large noise can be generated between the stepping boards and the vertical rods through the arrangement of the rubber rings.
