The invention discloses a water affair anti-backflow monitoring system and an anti-backflow method thereof. The monitoring system comprises a control valve arranged in a pipe network, a flow sensor for monitoring the flow of drainage fluid is arranged in the control valve, and the output end of the flow sensor is connected with an information collector and transmits flow information; and the information collector is connected with the water affair upper computer through a water affair network. The anti-backflow method comprises the following steps that water pressure information on the two sides of the control valve is obtained; calculating pressure difference between two sides of the control valve; carrying out differential pressure comparison; adjusting the control valve; monitoring the liquid flow of the drain opening; uploading the flow velocity information to a water affair upper computer; and transmitting, by the water affair upper computer, the state of the control valve to the mobile processing end. According to the invention, a backflow point appearing in the operation of the urban water supply system can be sensed in time, data is sent in real time through the information collector in the anti-tilting monitoring system, the data is received through the water affair upper computer and is communicated to the mobile processing terminal in the area, and the emergency processing time of water affair is greatly shortened.
