The invention relates to a prompting method and device for an internal pipeline of an engineering datum plane during excavation construction. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, making plane intersection analysis on a reference plane and a pipeline to obtain position information of an intersection point set of the reference plane and the pipeline on a plane; calculating the elevation of each intersection point based on pipeline information and an intersection analysis result; and finally, when the excavation end is located right in front of any intersection point zi and the distance between the excavation end and the intersection point is smaller than or equal to the single excavation depth, stopping downward excavation and sending prompt information. The device corresponding to the method comprises a data center, a positioning module, a mining end, a control unit and an information prompting unit.
