The invention relates to the field of bridges and provides a hidden type bridge warning indicator. The hidden type bridge warning indicator comprises a box body installed on a bridge, a mounting plate, a first guide rail, a first sliding block, a two-way screw rod, a two transmission assemblies and a driving assembly, wherein the bottom of the box body is open; the mounting plate is arranged on an inner wall of the box body; the first guide rail is arranged on the mounting plate; the first sliding block is arranged on the first guide rail, and a warning lamp is installed on the first sliding block; two threaded sections on the two-way screw rod are respectively positioned on two sides of the mounting plate; the two transmission assemblies are arranged on the two sides of the mounting plate correspondingly, and each transmission assembly comprises a second guide rail, a second sliding block and a connecting rod; the driving assembly comprises a first gear, a third guide rail, a third sliding block, a first rack, a first permanent magnet and a first electromagnet; and a power source and a controller are further included. The hidden bridge warning indicator provided by the invention still has better survivability in extreme weather such as hail or rainstorm.
