The invention provides a fluid pressure drive device. A hydraulic drive device (110) includes a main pump (15) and a single pressure gauge (11). The main pump (15) controls discharge flow rates of a first hydraulic oil and a second hydraulic oil discharged into two or more first pressure oil supply passage (120) and second pressure oil supply passage (121) with a single swash plate (23). The main pump (15) is a swash plate variable displacement type split flow hydraulic pump. The pressure gauge (11) measures an intermediate pressure of the discharged fluid at a merging point (123a) between the first pressure oil supply passage (120) and the second pressure oil supply passage (121). The discharge flow rates are controlled based on a pressure value obtained by the pressure gauge (11).
