According to the safety buffer type traffic protective fence, when a vehicle collides with a buffer plate, the impact force of the vehicle can be automatically buffered and reduced, certain correction treatment can be conducted on the vehicle which deviates and collides with the buffer plate, and the situation that the protective fence is broken due to large destructiveness generated by linear collision is reduced; and a rotating rod has certain buffering performance, the situation that rotation buffering cannot be conducted due to deformation caused by large impact force suddenly is avoided, and the supporting stability and the impact resistance effect of the guardrail plate can be automatically improved when the X-shaped supporting columns are crashed up by a vehicle.
