The invention provides a river diversion method based on a coal face under-river coal mining project, which comprises the following steps of: determining an influence range of working face mining on a river channel by adopting a moving angle, and designing a diversion scheme outside the influence range of the moving angle; determining the flow of a diverted river and the cross section of the river channel, and arranging the diverted river outside the movement influence range of a rock stratum; constructing and arranging an interception dam and the river channel; and processing the slope of a river channel digging and filling area. The safety of the river after diversion is guaranteed; and the technical problems in the prior art are solved.
