The steel tube concrete beam-column joint structure comprises a steel tube concrete column and a reinforced concrete beam, wherein the steel tube concrete column comprises a steel tube wall and concrete arranged in an inner cavity of the steel tube wall; a plurality of open holes are formed in the steel tube wall around the axis of the steel tube wall; one end of the reinforced concrete beam extends into the inner cavity of the steel tube wall through the open holes, or a beam longitudinal bar penetrates through the steel tube wall through the open holes; a column steel bar cage with a certain anchoring length is arranged in the inner cavity of the steel tube wall relative to the open holes; the column steel bar cage comprises a column longitudinal bar, a column stirrup and a cross steel bar; the cross steel bar is connected with the steel tube wall and the column longitudinal bar respectively; and the column stirrup is connected with the column longitudinal bar. By adopting the steel tube concrete beam-column joint structure and the construction method, the problems of non-direct force transmission way, complex structure and inconvenience in construction in the conventional steel tube concrete beam-column joint are solved.
