The diagonal bracing damper comprises an outer sleeve and an inner cylinder, and a first sleeve and a second sleeve are fixed to the inner side of the outer sleeve; the inner cylinder comprises a guide rod and a third sleeve located on the outer side of the guide rod, a gap is formed between the third sleeve and the guide rod, one end of the third sleeve is inserted between the first sleeve and the second sleeve, and a first magnetorheological elastomer, a second magnetorheological elastomer and a third magnetorheological elastomer are arranged between the first sleeve and the third sleeve in a sleeving mode; a fourth magnetorheological elastomer, a fifth magnetorheological elastomer and a sixth magnetorheological elastomer are arranged between the third sleeve and the second sleeve in the sleeving mode, a seventh magnetorheological elastomer, an eighth magnetorheological elastomer and a ninth magnetorheological elastomer are installed between the second sleeve and the guide rod, and the guide rod is further sleeved with a first coil and a second coil.
